2 December 2016,
Hi Tony, Good to talk today. Could you please ch=
eck links especially with the food hamper section. I’ve edited it a bit, al=
so because it is now December, not November as referenced. Also I am confus=
ed about it being in third person about Cindy then first person, who is tha=
t, Cindy? or you? For where to drop off donations. Please clarify. I will b=
e up for another hour, otherwise I can get this set up to send out first th=
ing Saturday morning. Thanks!
Lynn

Barrhaven Christmas
Cindy Little is a member of the Phoenix Downtown Chapter and the co-o=
rganizer of this community effort.
The Barrhaven Christmas Hamper pro=
gram is in desperate need for help this year. They have hit a record =
number of requests and now it is already early December! The Barrhaven Food=
Cupboard took a serious hit when the Barrhaven Santa Claus Parade was canc=
elled this past weekend. The parade is where they pick up a lot of their do=
nations.
The Christmas Hamper Program matches individuals, families=
, groups and organizations together to provide a Christmas hamper with a fa=
mily that needs one, so they too can enjoy a special holiday dinner.=
How much does i=
t cost to sponsor a family? It costs about $100 to sponso=
r a family. While it would be great if we could all spons=
or one family, I know this may not be possible, so let’s work together to h=
elp as many as we can with smaller amounts.
How can I donate? You can come see me and drop off your donations or donate direct=
ly here. Cindy’s special Is=
agenix team have org=
anized a special=
raffle with 3 prizes to help out these families:
1st prize – $5=
00 Value (chocolates, gift cards & wine)
2nd prize – a =
dinner and a movie
3rd prize – a =
spa package day
Tickets are only $5 each or $10=
for 3 tickets and we will put your name on the raffle tickets and send you=
the numbers afterward. You can buy as many tickets as you would like. Phoe=
nix members can send their eTransfers to info@pbex.ca with subject line “Chr=
istmas Hamper” and we will forward those funds to Cindy and her organizers =
to these families to have a better Christmas.
Good =
Luck on the draw!
Thank you so much for your help with this special cause. =
; No one deserves to be hungry over Christmas!
