The 5th Annual Phoenix Golf Event
is scheduled on Tuesday October 20th, 2020
at beautiful Loch March Golf Course
We have total 28 golf spots (7 teams of 4 players) available for 18 holes. FIRST COME FIRST SERVED This opportunity will go fast so act fast and even if you don’t golf well there are plenty of playing options to make it fun for all which are listed below.
EMAIL MIKE WLOTZKI OR TEXT ASAP TO RESEVE YOUR SPOT
This year the green fee is a flat rate of $40 per player. Thank you Danielle (General Manager and Head Professional) for this kind offer. Optional: If you require a power cart the cost is $17.70 per player. You will pay these fees when you check in at the pro shop.
The first tee time for 4 players is 11:08 and then every 11 minutes from there. That ensures us all finishing before dark.
If you wish to participate and even bring in a guest you may do so but please email me Mike Wlotzki (info@wecarefocus.ca) or text Mike Wlotzki at 613.850.6622 with full names. I will confirm back to you of your registration.
If you have a preference to play with other golfers or tee times then set that up yourself and email me the 4 names and I will do my best. All names in by the 6th of October and it is first come first served.
Important: In past years we each brought a gift valued @ $25 for an gift exchange and had a set meal for $25 each after the round. Because of COVID 19 we will not be doing that this year. We suggest for some networking fun is arrive at 10am to join us pre golf on the outside patio and if desired you can order food or drinkies (swing oil) off the menu and catch up with some fellow members you haven’t seen physically for a while.
However to make this day a lot more special instead of purchasing a gift we suggest making a $25 donation from each golfer to The Serendipity Group which assist individuals suffering from mental health and who also is a member of our Phoenix Group. We can make a nice tidy $700 for this cause and collectively share in the joy of helping out an individual that is looking for a helping hand in these challenging times.
The greatest joy of living comes from the joy of giving

Notes during golf round:
Have fun, this is not a competition
Proper golf attire is required
You decide below which format you wish to play which depends on the level of your golf game. Fun for any level.
Your group can play 4 individual rounds
Your group can team up as pairs. (each player in pairs takes a shot and goes to the better ball of those 2 shots)
and from there both players hit again and so on till ball is holed out.
Your group can team up as a 4 player best ball team. Each player hits and everyone goes to the best shot out of the 4 shots
and from there each of the 4 players hits again and so on till ball is holed out.
Keep in mind Pace of play. Remember as long as you see the group ahead of you are on time.
Please practice proper COVID 19 best practices
for the safety of all.

Playing it Forward For Wishes Event held on July 24, 2016. Anthony received his wish and here are a couple of pictures and his smile tells it all. It was the event’s first wish delivery out of 2 wishes delivered that day at this magical event.
